A 1972 science fiction novel that won the Nebula in 1972, and the Hugo in 1973.

A television series based on a world initially developed for a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that details factions of humanity divided between Earth, Mars, and the asteroid belt. Awesome on multiple levels, and, oddly, not yet referenced here. Worth watching even if it was just Shohreh Aghdashloo, in costume, swearing while reading the phone book.
Three Body
Formally known as Remembrance of Earth's Past, a Chinese hard science fiction trilogy by Liu Cixin. Ken Liu's translation of the first book, The Three-Body Problem, was the first novel by an Asian writer to win the Hugo. It has been adapted for television in China and the US.
